ANOTHER CERAMIC

The ‘vessel’ we commonly encounter in daily life serves a limited role due to its functional nature. However, people often overlook the sculptural value of a plate’s rim, a teapot’s spout, or a cup’s handle. We seek to emphasize these sculptural qualities and bring them closer to everyday life. Our ultimate goal is to make these artistic forms more tangible in daily experiences. By reinterpreting the inherent characteristics of ceramics as ‘vessels (器),’ we strive to expand the boundaries of ceramic design, presenting a new artistic realm where ceramics are both used and appreciated beyond their conventional purpose.
