The name Donong Ceramics means ‘ceramic farmer,’ symbolizing the dedication to crafting ceramics with the same diligence as a farmer sowing seeds and cultivating crops.
Specializing in designing and producing Korean tea ware, Donong Ceramics embraces traditional aesthetics while reinterpreting them for contemporary sensibilities. Inspired by Joseon white porcelain, the studio moves beyond mere replication of the past, instead exploring innovative creations through the fusion of ceramics with diverse materials such as silver, bronze, and gold accents.
